Xerographic Solutions is a local business that has been providing quality office solutions including digital copiers, network printers, faxes, software and scanning solutions for its customers since 1996. In November 2005, Global Imaging Systems acquired Xerographic Solutions and its subsidiaries. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Global Imaging Systems is the most profitable and efficient operator among publicly traded companies within the industry.
Global Imaging Systems was founded in June of 1994, and has since acquired 86 companies with more than 142 locations in 32 states. Xerographic Solutions is now part of a core company who specializes in servicing the greater Detroit Metro area.
We are also excited to announce that Xerox Corporation recently purchased our parent company, Global Imaging Solutions, making Xerographic Solutions a Xerox company. Xerox has the most extensive array of document management solutions in the industry. Geographic service territories are designed by looking at the number of pages produced in a specific area rather than the number of installed machines. Since any given customer can produce 1,000 to 1,000,000 pages per month, this designation provides a more accurate reflection of the install base. Territory assignments are updated on a monthly basis to allow for changes in customer volumes and ensure a maintained 4-hour service response time.
Many competitors compensate their technicians based on the number of calls they can complete in a day (focused on quantity). On the contrary, Xerographic Solutions technicians’ are compensated based on the number of days between service calls for every one of their customers (focused on quality). Technicians are required to perform a 21-point service evaluation on every call, and will complete preventative maintenance on any device within 10% of the factory recommended intervals. In addition, Xerographic Solutions’ integrated inventory controls track high use parts and always maintains a sufficient supply of these items.
