Yoh Health Care has an opening for a Certified Medical Assistant in The Woodlands, Texas. We have a contract and a per diem position open that needs to be filled immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Communication skills using appropriate medical terminology
• Measuring and recording vital signs.
• Recording patient interview, history and chief complaint.
• Preparing patients for examinations and performing routine screening tests.
• Phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens.
• Performing basic lab tests.
• Preparing and administering medications with physician’s authorizations.
• Change dressings, applying bandages, removing sutures and other first aid procedures.
• Practicing OSHA safety standards.
