Statistician – Genetic Science

Job Description 

Yoh Scientific is presently seeking candidates for a Statistician opportunity located in the RTP area. Our customer is a well-known agricultural organization with a strong global footprint .

In this role, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for leading efforts in the areas of statistical theory development and perform advanced programming to implement algorithms developed. This is a direct hire position offering a very competitive salary and comprehensive employee benefits.
 


Job Requirements 

  • PhD degree in Biostatistics or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience
  • Statistical software experience (SAS, SPlus, etc.)
  • Solid programming skills essential (R, Matlab, etc.)
  • Prior experience with genetics and genomic datasets highly preferred
  • Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
