Description:

Our customer is currently seeking a full or part-time Certified Nurse Practitioner to oversee clinical operations in their Aztec, NM facility. This position provides acute and non-emergent medical services in an on-site setting for one of their major clients. The on-site clinic location provides basic, primary health care via the diagnosis and treatment of common acute illnesses and injuries.

Responsibilities:

• The primary focus will be on assessment, health management, education, advocacy, and prevention.
• Additionally, the NP will be responsible for administering Health Risk Assessments, conducting physical exams, prescribing medication and diagnosing and treating illness.
• The NP will be ordering and interpreting lab tests.
• Responsible for counseling patients on other health care related issues and options.
